About the Knowledge Center

The Rescue Agency Manager Knowledge Center is a free, growing library of practical guidance for the people who run search & rescue, fire, EMS, and emergency management organizations.

Educate first​

This isn't a product brochure. Our goal is simple: help you run a better organization, whatever tools you use. The guides, checklists, and resources here are written to be genuinely useful on their own — on leadership, operations, training, technology, volunteers, funding, and governance.

When our software, Rescue Agency Manager, is honestly the right answer to a problem, we'll say so and link to it. The rest of the time, it's just guidance you can use.

Who's behind it​

The Knowledge Center is published by the team at Rescue Agency Manager, led by founder Chris Snook. We build software for rescue organizations — and we spend a lot of time learning how the best of them operate. This is where we share what we learn.
